HOW TO USE COOKING STOVES GAS (Full Kit of LPG: Gas stove, Gas Cylinder, Gas Hose, Gas Regulator, Clips)?
While connecting a filled LPG cylinder to Gas stove
- Remove the safety cap from the valve.
- Check the cylinder valve and other joints for any leaks using soap solution.
- The regulator is turned to the off position.
- All valves on the appliance are closed & the connecting pipe to the appliance is closely fitted.
- Put the regulator on top of the cylinder valve. Place hand on top of the regulator and push down firmly and vertically until you hear a click.
- Once the regulator is correctly fitted, turn knob to ‘ON’ position.
While disconnecting an empty cylinder to Gas stove
- Put off all flames and fires in the room/kitchen.
- Close all the knobs of the LPG appliance.
- Never disconnect the regulator with the knob in on position.
- Turn the knob of the regulator to off position.
- Pull the regulator out or pull up the ring and lift the regulator out.
- After disconnecting, replace the safety cap onto the cylinder valve and press.
Save Cost with LPG cooking stoves
- Collect all raw materials before cooking.
- Avoid open vessel cooking.
- Use a Pan that covers the burner.
- Wipe utensils dry before placing them on the burner.
- Cook on low flame.
- Do not overcook.

- Keep the doors and windows of your kitchen open for proper ventilation.
- Do not place flammable or plastic items near the flame.
- Never leave your cooking unattended.
- Wear clothes that do not catch fire easily.
- Close the regulator knob to OFF position when cylinder is not in use.
LPG Gas stoves Maintenance
Maintaining and storing your LPG Gas stoves
- Disconnect LPG regulator and affix safety cap on the cylinder when your gas stove is not in use for long.
- Always store the LPG cylinder in an upright position and away from other combustible and flammable materials.
- Always use RSB approved Gas hose, Gas stoves, Gas regulators and LPG appliances.
- Make sure all parts of your LPG system are in good condition.
- Never tamper with your LPG cylinder.
If in case of an Emergency
- Close regulator and burner knobs. Do not panic.
- Open all doors and windows for ventilation.
- Extinguish all flames, lamps, incense sticks and sources of fire.
- Put the safety cap on the cylinder.
- Call your distributor or emergency service for help.
- Do not operate electrical switches and appliances in the room.
- Isolate main electrical supply from outside.
- LPG is heavier than air and it settles on the ground. Use all available ventilation to disperse the gas.
